XBOX 360

Gamers are widely spread nowadays. From computer games to portable games, kids, and even adults know how to play them. This phenomenon likewise was aggravated by the release of the Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360, for those who have not heard it yet, is one of the video game consoles made and released by Microsoft. To be exact, it was the second one produced by the company in collaboration with other leading electronic companies such as IBM, Sis, as well as ATI. Xbox 360 also allows the users to download games such as arcade games, demos, as well as shows in television and some movies. Just to give more background and information about Xbox 360, let us talk about its release. Xbox 360 was officially made known to the public on May, 2005 on MTV. Later on that same year, it was already released in various countries which includes United States of America, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia and many other countries. Xbox 360 became widely known that on February, 2008, it has accumulated about 19 million purchases world wide according to the data of Microsoft.

There are various kinds or versions of Xbox 360 that one can choose. A gamer can choose between the Xbox Arcade console, Xbox Premium console, Xbox Core console as well as the Xbox Elite console. Of course, each of the versions has their own selection of games and accessories. This gives the gamers a wide range of selection of Xbox 360.

In addition, there were also limited Xbox versions which were released along with the four main ones. One of these versions is the Halo 3 version which was released last September 2007. This console has many features which are similar to the Xbox Premium, however, it has wired headset and its controllers are wireless. Another limited version is the yellow Xbox 360. This was purposely made to endorse the The Simpsons Movie. Its features are just similar to the Xbox Premium, the only difference is the appearance and the color. It was considered limited because it only serves as a prize for winners in a game and only 10 yellow Xbox consoles were made.
