Latest games for the Wii

Wii has revolutionized videogames in a lot of ways. It has moved the videogame technology in a new frontier, where wireless controls dominate and remote sensing has made possible games that were perceived to be impossible before.

Today, the games available for Wii come in many shapes and interests. Broadly, role-playing videogames enjoy popularity because they are divided into different missions, each mission more challenging and complex than the preceding one. Some role-playing games, like The Ant Bully, are adapted from movie releases. Included too are television shows, like the quiz show Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader and Deal or no Deal, which find their newest versions on videogames. Sports, racing and arcades are becoming standards.

Gamers, who either belong to hardcore or the freshie group, keep their Wii updated through daily, weekly, or monthly releases of new videogames or newer versions of popular games online. A quick search online for list of latest games for the Wii would lead the archives in wiiwii.tv. The library of these games is so huge that they are classified to release dates, with games ranging in genre and target market that there will be a sure pick for people from all walks of life.

For July 2008 new game releases, DEADRISING is one of the latest games for the Wii. Not much is revealed about the promises of this new version of 360 game. Prey the Stars, another offering this October, will have players satiate the appetite of four protagonists by eating anything available, and attacking other competitors to stop them from eating your food. Not all games are about eating and unquenchable hunger however. And certainly not all games are for children and teenagers hooked to them.

Boogie is out for release in order to update the Wii Fit, that family piece of exercise regimen to keep all household members fit and healthy. It’s a rhythmic game, shooting instructions to the player to change center of gravity in order to perform various steps of exercise. So it’s not a monopoly among younger, pre-pubescent, generation now, but a videogame that will hook the many to dance the boogie.

The games are not available for everyone however. Demographics have got something to do with the release and distributions of the many latest games for Wii; people from different countries will have different releases for the games. What is reassuringly certain is that fun definitely comes in everyday with Wii.
